Saban hari kita mendengar ramai orang di sekeliling kita mengeluh. Mengeluh kerana kerja dan tanggungjawab, mengeluh kerana keperitan dan kesusahan, mengeluh kerana kesempitan dan kekurangan, mengeluh kerana kecewa dan terluka. Ada sahaja perkara yang serba tidak kena dan menyesakkan diri dalam hidup, tidak kira dalam tugas sebagai seorang pelajar, anak, ibu bapa, rakan, pekerja atau majikan.

Tidak terkecuali juga kepada para da’ie masa ini yang ingin mengajak manusia kepada Allah SWT. Bukan sedikit mereka yang mengeluh apabila projek dakwah berjalan tidak seperti dirancang, atau bila ditimpa pelbagai ujian ketika berdakwah. Apatah lagi bila seruan dakwah tidak mendapat sambutan ramai, mereka mula berkeluh kesah sehingga terdetik rasa penyesalan di hati kerana terjun dalam kafilah dakwah ini.

This is our story..

It began when we understood Allah's command to "marry those among you who are single, and those who are fit among your male slaves and your female slaves. If they are needy, Allah will make them free from want out of His grace. And Allah is Ample-giving, Knowing. And let those who cannot find a match keep chaste, until Allah makes them free from want out of His grace." (24:32-33)

So we searched high and low, not exactly for each other, really; but for a spouse, to travel the road to Jannah together. All the while believing that "women impure are for men impure, and men impure for women impure and women of purity are for men of purity, and men of purity are for women of purity: these are not affected by what people say: for them there is forgiveness, and a provision honourable." (24:26)

Until Allah made our paths meet, brought us together in ta'aruf and finally in wedlock on 4th Shawwal, 1432. And now we could, with absolute faith, testify that "among His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for people who give thought." (30:21)

Surely, none of these would have happened without Allah's will.
